Meet me at Manifestations during DDW to experience my work The Alien Between Us – an exploration of mediated intimacy that seeks to balance power dynamics through interaction with two responsive sculptures. By sensing each other’s biosignals such as heart rate, breathing, and warmth, participants can attune to one another’s states. However, if one mistreats their sculpture, both participants will feel the effects of a built-in defence mechanism.
